just thinking out loud here…
You know how everyone is like, “You should be more self confident! Have high self esteem and stuff! Yeah! Beautiful no matter what! Be who you want to be! Love and acceptance man!”
But when they see someone who is self confident or thinks highly of themselves they are like, “They think they’re all that. What an ass hole. They’re egotistical. Fucking fuckerton. We should belittle them ‘cause they’re not all that even though they think they are.”
I guess there is a line between thinking highly of yourself and thinking you’re better than everyone. But, in the end, it’s how people perceive you that matters. So it doesn’t matter weather or not you think you’re better than everyone or not; because people are likely to think that you do, because you’re confident. And you’re only confident because everyone told you to be.
really though. Think about it. It’s like people paint you blue then complain about you being painted blue.
This doesn’t even relate to me. Just ‘cause there was a girl who was described as, “she thinks she’s all that, but she’s not.”
It’s just been in my head, ya know a shower moment. Just ignore me… dear god.
